1.5 cups white rice
1.7 cups water
Tips to prepare rice before cooking-
Rinse the rice quickly. Put the rice and water into the HACHI and allow the rice to soak in the water and absorb it before cooking.
Approximate time necessary for soaking rice in water: 30 minutes in summer/ 60 minutes in winter
1) Add the rice and water into the HACHI and let the rice absorb the water (but not completely). Put the lid on the HACHI and cook it in a microwave at 600 watts (Power Level 5) for 8 minutes.
2) After boiling, keep the rice inside the HACHI and cook it at 200 watts (Power Level 2) for another 6-8 minutes.
3) Take the HACHI out from the microwave and keep the lid on to steam the rice for about another 10 minutes.
