Oxtail Pot-au-Feu
Ingredients

(5-6 Servings) 

-A-

Salt and pepper to taste

1oxtail

2 onions

1 carrot

1leek

1 head of garlic

2 tomatoes

1 tablespoon whole black pepper 

2 teaspoons thyme leaves

-B- 

(Seasonal vegetables, root vegetables as you like) 

3 turnips

2 red radishes

1 carrot

1 parsnip

6 potatoes

1/2 orange cauliflower

1/2 savoy cabbage

Salt and pepper to taste

 

Directions

1) Cut the beef tail and put into the HACHI along with water then heat up. After boiling the water, add the ingredients listed above as A.  Cook everything together for 5 hours on low heat.

2) Take out the beef tail from the HACHI, strain the broth and keep the soup.   

3) Cut the ingredients listed above as B into suitable sizes and put them into the HACHI together with the beef tail soup. Cook the mixture for about 15 minutes until the vegetables become tender. Add salt and pepper to taste.
